Flightless Bird,
Who will one day fly again.
Don't be sad that your wings were clipped,
For it is not a punishment,
but a gift for going the distance.
The gift to breathe,
And see how far you've come.
So, close your eyes,
take a deep breath in,
on the count of 3,
Release your contained energy,
back into the Earth,
Open your eyes,
And see how all you nourished,
Has now flourished,
in a blink of an eye.
