Darkness doesn't have to stay dark,
once we learn who we are,
that is when we can set ourselves free.
Free to be the light that darkness covered,
it never left just went into slumber,
waiting to awaken when you take that first step.
Wanting and willing to heal is the step you take,
to find yourself and the love you seek.
